- Young people seeking to develop their skills as musical theatre performers work with a team of distinguished Broadway professionals on new shows and adaptations in development at iTheatrics.
- Artists selected for the Academy must be able to rise to the challenge of presenting a performance of a new musical theatre title after an intensive rehearsal process.
- Admission to the Academy is by audition or invitation only, on a show-by-show basis.
- Students also have the chance to be seen by important leaders from the creative community. Past audiences have included musical theatre authors like Stephen Schwartz, Sheldon Harnick, Jeanine Tesori and Dick Scanlan, as well as leading executives from Disney Theatrical Productions, Music Theatre International and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
- The iTheatrics Junior Theater Academy is an ideal program for students who are looking to improve their skills within a supportive and engaging environment that mirrors the real-world experience of putting on a show.
